Position Mission Statement
Lead the design and development of the control systems and power electronics that run our cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize control systems for our desalination products, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Lead PCB design, testing, and integration, including schematic capture and layout.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and drive product development.
- Select, integrate, and test components such as sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers.
- Develop firmware for control systems to ensure seamless operation across environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production systems.
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure the scalability and cost-effectiveness of designs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electronics and control systems to inform design decisions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in PCB design, control systems, and electrical testing (internship experience is applicable).
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle).
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
- Knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and embedded systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with firmware development.
- Familiarity with water treatment systems or related technologies.
- Experience designing for high-volume manufacturing and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of environmental testing and compliance standards.
